Visual identity

Whenever we present our platform we seek to balance the platform elements with real-world elements. This surfaces in our use of images and human elements, which we explore on this page.

Avatars

Use real people (not stock images), and use people from monday.com. Use their real names and titles, we want to show what real teams look like.

Remember to include diverse groups by age, color, body type, and religion.

Keep it clean

We show real boards only, no mockups. Remove whatever is not relevant to the board and to your main message, but don’t portray the system in an inaccurate fashion.

No real devices or mockups.
Real devices will only appear as a part of a photographed scene.

Our product is visual and fun, in marketing we don't use complex real screenshots. We usually use designed boards templates.

Building block cannot be placed without shade underneath.

We only use the general shape of a device,  we want to avoid specificity and old device versions.

To emphasis the digital enviroment we always show browser or mobile border (in 40% opacity)

To indicate the place of the board, we’ll add a browser on the top part of the phone (hour, internet, battery)

We use visual elements to emphasis ideas

We use layers to emphasis additional boards or templates.
We use shadows to point out features and create depth.

Real-world first

Whenever we present our platform we seek to balance the platform elements with real-world elements. This surfaces in our use of images and human elements, which we explore on this page.

Screen shots, boards and platform guidelines

When creating boards for landing pages, or other assets it is crucial that the board reflects the real look and feel of our product.

Keep it iconic

Since our platform is filled with buttons, UI elements, and features, it is important to remember that they can sometimes create clutter and distract the viewer from the focal point - our board. That is why it is important to keep the board clean, and remove everything that doesn’t contribute to the message and instead creates clutter.

Use real content

Since we want the boards to be clear and we want the viewers to understand what they’re looking at - it is absolutely crucial to keep the content as real and logical as can be. Both the title and the content inside the board must send a clear message that is understandable to the viewer and helps them understand the board and how it works.
